New Wave Group, the Swedish parent of sports brands Craft and Cutter & Buck and distributor of other labels, reported a 9% increase in first quarter sales to SEK 2,184 million ($206.6 mm) driven by the Sports & Leisure segment which grew 11%.

The Chinese sportswear company’s Kappa-branded stores’ retail sales declined mid- to high-single digits in the fiscal fourth quarter ended Mar 31, and were also down by the same percentage for the full fiscal year.
