Gildan Shareholders Gird for Proxy Battle


The opposition list to Glenn Chamandy’s ouster as GIL’s chief now totals nine institutional investors holding 35% of outstanding shares, while Browning West took another step in making good on its threat to requisition a special meeting of shareholders with an eye on replacing five board members and reinstating Chamandy.
