Yonex Raises Guidance after Strong Quarter


Profits dipped 19% in fiscal Q2 ended Sep. 30 to ¥2,134 million ($14.5 mm) from ¥2,628 million, on revenues that increased 11% to ¥39,676 million ($269.1 mm) from ¥35,875 million last year. North America improved 14% to ¥1,482 million ($11.5 mm), with the new Ezone racquet series getting a call-out, while badminton grew on increased participation in the U.S. and Canada.
