Net income jumped 364% to $189,765,000 from $52,178,000 for the fiscal second quarter ended Sep. 27 on a 2% improvement in revenue (-1% CC) to $2,802,706,000 from $2,757,948,000, as the bottom line lapped a $150.3 million charge for discontinued operations. With the looming sale of Dickies, the brand was excluded from both current- and prior-year results. Direct-to-consumer sales were down 1% to $909.9 million, but digital sales within the channel increased by 1%. Wholesale grew 3% to $1,892.8 million.
