Vail Resorts Reports Terrible Season-to-Date Ski Metrics
The worst early-season snowfalls in the western U.S. in over 30 years limited Vail’s ability to open terrain and negatively impacted visitation, translating into a 20% decline in total skier visits at MTN’s mountain resorts. Retail/rental revenue in North American locations was down 6%, and lift revenue ticked down 2%.
