Cappiello, the former Macy’s and JC Penney executive who once served as president of The Sports Authority, is joining the Franklin, MA, firm as president and Chief Merchandising Officer. He will be charged with helping Streetwear, including company Chairman, CEO and founder Henry Katz, broaden its reach beyond the U.S. Northeast geographically and beyond the current mix of licensed apparel offerings it sources out of Asia.
