Total sports equipment, apparel, and athletic footwear sales for 2025 tallied just shy of $130.0 billion, up 3.7% year-over-year and 34.7% over 2020 results, according to the Sports & Fitness Industry Association’s 2026 Manufacturers’ Sales by Category Report. The fifth anniversary of the pandemic fitness boom marked nearly an additional $35 billion in wholesale volume added by the industry over that time.
