Peloton Bounces Back in Q3
The connected fitness company’s net income was $26.4 million in the third quarter against a loss of $47.7 million, on sales that inched up 1% to $630.9 million from $624.0 million. Connected Fitness equipment sales across both the Peloton and Precor brands were down 1% to $202.9 million, and subscription revenues grew by 2% to $428.0 million. Total gross margin for the quarter improved by 90 basis points to 51.9%, 210 b.p. below its initial guidance due to promotional activity.
