After a back-and-forth between Salt Lake City and Denver over the past few years, the Emerald Expositions-owned trade show announced that Minneapolis will be the new home of the outdoor industry gathering, starting with the Aug. 19-21, 2026 event. In a release, Outdoor Retailer highlighted the Minnesota economy’s $13.5 billion in outdoor contributions, equivalent to 2.8% of its GDP.
