Obituary: Geoff Hollister
One of the original Nike employees, Hollister passed away at the age of 66 after a long battle with cancer. Hollister was a University of Oregon track standout in the steeplechase and went to work for Phil Knight at Blue Ribbon Sports with Nelson Ferris, famously selling track shoes made by Asics from the back of a station wagon while Knight labored as a CPA for Price Waterhouse.
