Nike Returns to Amazon, Plans Selective Price Increases
Pricing and channel changes are on the near horizon for the Swoosh as it plans hikes on certain price points while holding the line on others, and will return to direct partnership with Amazon for the first time in six years as it winds down the DTC push of recent years. Sources first told CNBC that the price increases will be in effect by June 1. Nike responded with a statement citing regular seasonal adjustments and did not explicitly point a finger at tariff pressures.
