A jury found the Swoosh liable Tuesday after the eight-year-long Cahill v. Nike, Inc. sex discrimination saga was finally heard in U.S. District Court, stating Nike should pay $7.5 million in punitive damages for violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act and a matching $7.5 million for Oregon Equal Pay Act violations to sole remaining plaintiff Heather Hender.
