Nike and Alberto Salazar Settle with Runner Mary Cain
The Eager Beavertons and now banned coach Alberto Salazar have agreed to settle a lawsuit filed in OR state court by long distance runner Mary Cain, according to The Oregonian. The suit, originally filed in 2021, alleged emotional and physical abuse at the hands of the coach and a lack of oversight by the Swoosh, and demanded $20 million in damages.
