New Golden State Law Requires Businesses to Address Human Trafficking


A new California law that took effect on Jan. 1, The California Transparency in Supply Chains Act, requires companies doing business in the state to disclose what steps they are taking to prevent slavery and human trafficking in their respective supply chain via their website’s home page. Columbia Sportswear and Patagonia have published statements posted on their respective sites.
