Lululemon Founder Launches Proxy Battle
LULU’s founder, Chip Wilson, has launched a proxy contest seeking to gain influence on the company’s board as it searches for a new CEO, nominating former On Running co-CEO Marc Maurer, former ESPN chief marketing officer Laura Gentile, and former Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg as director candidates. Wilson currently holds a 4.27% stake, making him one of the company’s largest independent shareholders.
