Hydro Flask Slips, but Osprey Outperforms for Helen of Troy


Sales in HELE’s Home & Outdoor segment, which includes Hydro Flask and Osprey Packs, declined 7% to $217,144,000 from $234,263,000 for the fiscal first quarter ended May 31, as Osprey gains were offset by bottle and housewares declines at Hydro Flask and Oxo. Osprey benefited from improved inventory position compared to last year’s pandemic factory closures, along with accelerated demand in the travel categories both in the U.S. and international markets.
