Holiday Surveys Forecast Slowing, but Positive Growth


Early retail sales forecasts are predicting Holiday 2025 growth in the low to mid-single digits, led by e-commerce, while in-store sales remain above pre-pandemic levels but continue to taper off from the 2021 record. Deloitte expects total sales in the Nov. to Jan. window to grow in the range of 2.9% to 3.4%, tallying between $1.61 and $1.62 trillion.
