GoPro Sales Fall As Retailers Reduce Inventory


Net income was slashed by 94% to $3,073,000 in the final quarter from $52,625,000 on revenue that was down 18% to $321,021,000 from $391,149,000, in-line with guidance as ForEx and inflationary impacts eroded both ends of the P&L. Direct-to-consumer revenue at GoPro.com, including subscription and service, was flat at $128 million, making up 40% of total sales compared to 33% in the prior year. Within that channel, subscription and service revenue increased 30% to $22 million. Retail channel sales dropped 27% to $193 million.
