Firearms imports grew double-digits in Mar. and were up for the third consecutive month, improving 22% to 329,947 units, according to ITC data compiled by the NSSF, including a 23% increase in pistol imports to 304,333 units, while revolvers were 9% higher at 25,614 units. Overall, handgun imports ticked up 13% in the first quarter. However, rifle imports fell off 14% to 83,780 units, and shotgun imports inched down 3% to 83,703.
