Deckers Warns of Rising Costs and Demand Headwinds


Net income in the final fiscal quarter ended Mar. 31 increased 32% to $157,201,000 from $119,186,000 as sales grew 6% to $1,021,780,000 from $959,758,000 with both Ugg and Hoka growth moderating after a torrid Holiday quarter. Direct-to-consumer sales slipped 1% to $410.2 million, while wholesale gained 12% to $611.6 million. All of the improvement came from overseas, as international net sales jumped 20% to $374.1 million, but the U.S. market came in flat at $647.7 million.
