Deckers Ups Earnings Guidance on Stronger Gross Margins


Net income inched up 2% in the fiscal first quarter ended June 30 to $133,259,000 from $130,768,000 as balanced growth from Ugg and Hoka sent the top line 6% higher to $1,019,531,000 from $964,538,000. Wholesale increased 2% to $666.7 million, which reflected last year’s earlier international shipments pulled forward out of FQ2. Direct-to-consumer sales grew 13% to $352.8 million, with blended comps up 6.8%.
