Countries Report FY11 Imports, Exports of Softgoods
In Brazil, footwear dollar imports rose 40% in 2011 to $427.7 million, according to Abicalcados, the country’s footwear association. Shoe unit imports were up nearly 19% last year. On the flip side, Brazilian footwear exports declined 21% in units and 13% in dollars to $1.296 billion in 2011.
