Revenues at CODI’s largest sports brand, 5.11 Tactical, slipped by 7% in the third quarter to $133,866,000 from $143,240,000, as lower promotions hurt direct sales to its price-sensitive consumers, and U.S. wholesale partners were reducing inventory. International sales also declined due to government order timing in Latin America and the impact of war in the Middle East. IEEPA tariff refunds of $2.3 million, along with a higher mix of full-price sales, helped push 5.11’s segment income up 18% to $11,334,000 from $9,628,000.
