Brooks Sports Has Robust 2011 as Revenues Gain 34%
The Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary continues to move forward as a dominant brand in the specialty running channel and its eventual quest to become a billion-dollar running brand. Overall brand sales rose 34% to an implied $304.2 million based on SGI’s CY10 revenue estimate of $227 million for the brand. Domestic sales grew 37% to an implied $174 million with international revenues totaling an estimated $130 million in CY11, up 26% year-over-year.
