The footbed sandal maker sees opportunity from the current tariff situation as its vertically integrated and European-based supply chain insulates it from tariffs on Asian suppliers that the rest of the industry relies on. Nevertheless, BIRK plans to offset the 10% base tariff on U.S. imports with price hikes here, though that will only require a low-single-digit increase, which is in line with historical pricing action. Beyond pricing, the company does have other levers to manage any headwinds, including production efficiencies, vendor negotiations, and product and regional mix adjustments.
