AOUT eked out a slim $77,000 profit in its fiscal second quarter ended Oct. 31, down 79% from $370,000 last year, on 6% higher revenues of $57,931,000 up from $54,436,000, boosted by an improvement in the outdoor lifestyle segment. Revenues through e-commerce channels—including both direct-to-consumer and wholesale sales to e-tailers—increased 3% to $23.5 million, while traditional brick-and-mortar channels improved 9% to $34.5 million. U.S. sales grew 6% to $55.0 million, and the small international business jumped 27% to $2.9 million.
