Net income for the year rose 32% to €90.9 million ($119.1 mm) from €68.9 million on a 9% top line improvement to €1,880.8 million ($2,463.8 mm) from €1,740.4 million. For the final quarter ended Dec. 31, net income dipped 18% to €31.1 million ($40.7 mm) from €38.1 million as sales declined 5% to €556.9 million ($729.5 mm) from €583.4 million, partially on a planned acceleration of winter sports shipments into Q3 this year and partially because of the late start to the winter season affecting reorders.
