Academy’s expanding fleet powered a 3% increase in third-quarter revenues to $1,383,696,000 from $1,343,330,000, overcoming a -0.9% comp, as gross margin improvement helped the bottom line grow 9% to $71,562,000 from $65,763,000. The same store sales are much improved from -4.9% in Q3 ‘24 and would have been positive except for the drag from lower ammunition sales. Sales at the 26 new stores aging into the comp base were up high single digits. E-commerce was a bright spot, increasing 22%, and accounting for 10.4% of the top line.
