The sporting goods industry awaits a ruling on the Trump Administration’s reciprocal tariffs by the Supreme Court to better gauge the impact on margins for 2026 and beyond, but the cost picture for other inputs in the coming year is clearing up. Wages are still on the rise in most garment producing centers across APAC and the Americas, though the largest number of red arrows are for rising raw materials costs in our annual survey of inputs most affecting the footwear, apparel, and hardgoods sectors.
