Addressing a long-standing issue with brick-and-mortar retailers, the Supreme Court agreed to hear and appeal of a SD case that would reverse its earlier ruling that severely limited states’ ability to collect sales tax on internet commerce if the retailer has no physical presence in the state where the merchandise was sold.
