Winchester Finishes Weakest Year Since 2012

The Olin-owned ammunition maker saw Q4 sales increase 2% to $165.4 million from $161.4 million on higher military sales, but commercial sales declined and lower margins on military sales pulled earnings down to $11.1 million from $25.0 million for the fourth quarter. Commercial demand was lower across the board for pistol, rifle, and shotshell ammunition.
