VF Acquires Workwear Brand Williamson-Dickie
The $820 million cash deal will enhance VF’s workwear portfolio with another $875 million in revenue and add key brands like Dickies, WorkriteKodiak, Terra and Walls to VF existing stable of brands like Wrangler, Riggs, Timberland Pro, Red Kap, Bulwark and Horace Small. It is expected to be accretive to 2017 results. Combined, VF will have a $1.7 billion workwear business that it believes can grow on a DTC and B2B basis as well as internationally.
