SFIA Petitions Pres. Obama to Unblock West Coast Port Congestion


The trade group has petitioned Pres. Obama, urging him to unblock the congestion at West Coast ports. Terminal operators have been unable to reduce backlogs created by slowdowns from the members of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union who have been working without a contract since July 1.
