While much of SQBG’s attention is focused on extending the Martha Stewart brand everywhere, its active brands—And1, Avia, Gaiam and Heely’s—all contributed to sales growth in Q4. Gaiam was described as “terrific” with hardgoods distribution being expanded into the drugstore channel and more apparel distribution across the board. The And1 brand was extended into sports equipment and launched internationally in Canada and China in Q4, with distribution in South America coming soon. In Walmart, the new Avia underwear and socks program is said to be doing well.
