Nike is Target of EU Antitrust Investigation

The European Union is investigating whether Nike illegally restricted their dealers from selling merchandise online and violated EU regulations designed to promote greater choice and lower prices both online and offline. Other U.S. companies targeted in the Jun. 14 investigation included Comcast’s Universal Studios unit and Sanrio, parent of Hello Kitty. The EU just ended successful actions for various trading practices with Apple, Facebook, Google and Amazon.
