Johnson Outdoors Results Hurt by Economy, Late Camping Season
Net income slipped 22% to $8,118,000 from $10,432,000 for the third quarter ended Jul. 1. Overall revenues were off 1% to $122,481,000 versus $123,954,000. Gross margins declined 20 b.p. to 41.3%. JOUT said the economy and weather impacted the recovery within its outdoor segment, including late seasonal starts to the paddlesports and camping seasons.
