The former president of Adidas/Reebok’s sports licensed division was appointed president and CEO of Lids Sports Group and an SVP of parent Genesco. Baxter most recently was in the news last year with a group that was in the bidding for Adidas’ Mitchell & Ness operation. He left Adidas in 2014 after an eight-year stint overseeing all of Adidas’ and Reebok’s sports licensed business with the NBA, MLS, NHL, WNBA, and NCAA. Baxter worked for Reebok prior to Adidas’ acquisition of the company, running its OnField apparel division.
