Foot Locker Lays Out Multi-Pronged, Five-Year Growth Plan


Big Foot’s multi-faceted growth strategy—proposing $10 billion in annual revenues, $600 per sq. ft. in brick-and-mortar sales per sq. ft., 110 b.p. growth in EBIT profit rate to 12.5% and a 120 b.p. increase in net income rate to 8.5% in 2020—will need assistance from all of its nine banners. FL executives outlined the plan during an investor meeting in New York today. For sure, the retailer believes the continued ‘casualization’ trend around the globe bodes well for its prospects.
