Delta Apparel Net Income Fattened by Junkfood


Net income surged 32% to $4,547,000 from $3,436,000 boosted by $1.3 million from the sale of Junkfood, while revenues declined 5% to $104,138,000 from $109,160,000 in the fiscal second quarter ended Apr. 1. Lower sales of Junkfood products prior to the sale closing on Mar. 31 combined with missing Soffe sales to Sports Authority pulled down the top line.
