Canada Goose Files IPO in New York and Toronto

The F-1, made public today after a confidential filing Feb. 6 and months of rumors, reveals that the high-end outerwear brand has accelerated sales and profits rapidly in recent years. The filing has a nominal $100 million placeholder for the offering, but the company is said to be seeking around $300 million, Bloomberg reported, with a valuation of about $2 billion. Proceeds will be used to pay down the company’s revolver and term loan and for general corporate purposes.
