Biden Administration Calls for Round-the-Clock Operations at Ports, Couriers
The White House unveiled its next steps in the path to remove bottlenecks in the U.S. supply chain Wednesday, and will push the Port of Los Angeles to 24/7 operation and rally private couriers and retailers as the main cogs in the plan. President Biden said that the Port of Los Angeles has signed on to ‘round-the-clock operation, nearly doubling its weekly operating hours compared to H1 with an additional 60 hours per week.
