Asics Names Gene McCarthy Americas Chief
He replaces Kevin Wulff as Asics America group president and CEO, effective Oct. 1. Wulff will retire at the end of this year. McCarthy takes the reins of the company’s largest region, which comprises the United States, Canada, Mexico and Brazil. Most recently, McCarthy was president of the Merrell Brand at Wolverine World Wide. Before that he was SVP footwear at Under Armour and has held top positions at Nike, Reebok and Timberland.
