The Eager Beavertons are the first athletic footwear or sporting goods company to join the 23-year old MIT Leaders for Global Operations (MIT LGO) program aimed at advanced manufacturing practices. NKE, who is joining MIT LGO with Boston’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Verizon Wireless, will have access to the university’s faculty and research as well as best practices of other partners, with the potential for joint operations.
