Adidas head of sports marketing Jim Gatto is one of 10 persons who will be charged by federal authorities in New York for using bribes of as much as $150,000 to steer top high school prospects to D1 basketball programs, whose description closely matches Louisville and the University of Miami, and to get them to sign with Adidas after college. An FBI investigation also charged Auburn coach Chuck Person, Oklahoma State coach Lamont Evans, USC assistant coach Tony Bland and Arizona assistant coach Book Richardson.
