Texts Show Kansas Coaches Knew Adidas Was Steering Players to Them
Former Adidas consultant T.J. Gassnola testified that he didn’t believe KU coach Bill Self and assistant coach Kurtis Townsend knew he was using cash to entice recruits to the Jayhawks program, but a number of texts among the three suggest that they were very aware of Gassnola’s efforts to influence the college choice of Silvio De Sousa.
