Super Retail Group Grows Sports and Outdoors
The Australian retailer’s Sports division sales increased 3% to A$979.2 million ($741.3 mm) from A$949.2 million in the fiscal year ended Jun. 30, with EBIT inching up to A$91.5 million ($69.3 mm) from A$91.3 million. Comp store sales gained 2.0% despite the disruption last fall of converting 68 Amart Sports stores to the Rebel banner, and online sales jumped 152% benefitting from a click-and-collect (BOPUS) program.
