Pentland Group reported a 14% increase in its operating profit to £376 million ($493 mm) for the year ended Dec. 31, on 25% higher revenues of £3.6 billion ($4.7 bb), driven by record performance for JD Sports Fashion, of which it owns more than 70%. The net value of the Rubin family controlled company’s assets went up by 22% to £1,276 million ($1,674 mm).
