SFIA Exec Bill Sells Unhurt in DC Shooting Today
The SVP of government affairs was attending the Republican baseball practice when James Hodgkinson started firing at Republicans practicing for the annual Congressional Baseball Game between the two parties. Sells, who often attends the practices of both parties to deliver equipment donated by the industry for the game, was there hoping to line up some appointments for Steve Garvey with Congressmen the next day, and ended up behind the dugout with dozens of others when Hodgkinson was killed by Capitol Hill police.
