Sears Will Survive, as Court Approves Lampert Bid


A U.S. bankruptcy judge approved the $5.2 billion bid from Sears Chairman Eddie Lampert’s ESL from the New York bankruptcy court, which promises to keep it operating with a reduced footprint of 425 stores.
