Point 3 Basketball Settles with Nike, Names COO


The upstart basketball apparel and accessories brand settled its lawsuit accusing the Swoosh of infringing on its DRYV patent for sweat absorbent panels with Nike Hyper Elite shorts and Outdoor Tech shirts and shorts, with both parties agreeing to dismiss the claims with prejudice. Responding to the original suit, the Eager Beavertons filed a claim with the Patent Trial and Appeal Board that the patent, no. 8,769,716, was invalid because of prior art.
